Shipping policy.

Processing time

Orders are processed and shipped within 1-2 business days from our fulfillment partner. Orders placed Friday afternoon, Saturday, Sunday, or on US federal holidays ship the next business day.

You'll receive a tracking number by email once your order is on its way.

Domestic shipping (United States)

• Standard (USPS Ground Advantage): 3-5 business days. Rates calculated at checkout based on weight and destination.
• Priority (USPS Priority Mail): 2-3 business days. Available at checkout.
• Free standard shipping on US orders over $75.

We ship to all 50 US states, including APO/FPO/DPO military addresses (delivery times may be longer).

International shipping

We currently ship to Canada, the United Kingdom, the European Union, and Australia. Other countries case-by-case — email support@cakepicnictour.com to ask.

• Canada: 7-14 business days via USPS International.
• United Kingdom: 7-14 business days.
• European Union: 10-21 business days.
• Australia: 14-21 business days.

International shipping costs are calculated at checkout. We do not mark packages as "gift" or under-declare value — we comply with customs and tax requirements in every country we ship to.

Customs, duties, and import VAT

UK orders: we collect UK VAT at checkout where required and remit to HMRC. No surprise charges at delivery.

EU orders: import VAT and any applicable duty are the responsibility of the customer and are typically collected by the carrier on delivery. Each country sets its own rules.

Canada: Canada Post may collect GST/HST and a small handling fee on delivery, especially for orders over CA$150.

Australia: orders under AU$1,000 typically clear customs without additional charges.

Tracking

Every order gets a tracking number, emailed when the package ships. USPS and partner carrier tracking updates can take 24-48 hours to appear after a label is created.

Lost or stuck packages

If a package hasn't moved in 7+ business days or shows as delivered but you didn't receive it:

1. Check with neighbors and your building's mail room.
2. File a search with the carrier (USPS: usps.com/help/missing-mail-and-lost-packages.htm).
3. Email support@cakepicnictour.com with your order number — we'll help track it down and reship if it's officially lost.

Address changes

We can change shipping addresses before a label is created (typically the first few hours after you order). Email us with your order number as soon as possible. Once the label is printed, the address is locked.

Cookbook pre-orders

The Cake Picnic Cookbook releases May 19, 2026. Pre-orders ship the week of release. You'll get a shipping confirmation as soon as your copy is on its way.
